 What happened to this day?

On 15 January 1949, Field Marshal Kodandera M. Cariappa, who was then a Lieutenant General, took over as the first Indian Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army from General Sir Francis Butcher, the last British person to hold that post. This day is celebrated as Army Day in India annually.

how it is celebrated

Every year this day is celebrated with different ideas . Last year, the theme of the Army day was "THE DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF DEFENSE". Ever Indian celebrate this day with pride. The main army parade is conducted in Cariappa Parade ground.

I salute indomitable spirit valour and sacrifice of brave hearts of Indian army.

"Doesn't affect privacy" clarifies WhatsApp

After the update in new privacy policy, reports of app users alleging leak of their private messages with family and friend on search engines. There has been lots of concerns regarding the policy.
